Pastor Matthew has been serving Sullivan Wesleyan as the Lead Pastor since Fall of 2017. Prior to that he served as the Young Adult Pastor and as an Associate Pastor. 

Matthew felt called to ministry while in high school and pursued a ministry degree at Indiana Wesleyan University, graduating in 2011. Matthew completed his ordination requirements for the Wesleyan Church and was ordained in 2016.

He is an admitted nerd and loves to read, watch movies and play board and video games. Some of his favorite subjects are The Lord of the Rings and Star Wars. He also loves to root for the Indianapolis Colts and the Cincinnati Reds.

His deepest desires, however, are to see people grow in a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.

There is one body and one Spirit - just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call - one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.... speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body is joined and held together..."
